offers educational tours is our belief that folks of all
ages need to understand how agriculture/farming fits in
societies grand scheme and the fact that food basically
comes from the farm and soil, not a plastic bag from the
store.

Lacy Orchard offers a unique farm experience especially tailored
to the educational needs of your school group. Children of all
ages can enjoy an outdoor learning environment filled with new
secrets and discoveries. From home school groups to large classes,
you won’t be disappointed with the farm
tour experience. We strongly believe in the importance
of education for our young, and we make it fun and hands on so
that what kids learn will stay with them.

Classic Apple Picking Tour
- Climb aboard a Hayride into our 55 Acre Apple and Peach
Orchard
- Watch and learn the process of washing, grading, and
packaging apples for retail sale in our Apple Packing
Barn
- Pick your own apples right out ofthe Orchard
- Pet and feed farm critters at our Petting Barnyard
- Learn about the adventures of Johnny Appleseed
- Find your way through our Amazing Straw Maze
- Enjoy a refreshing glass of our Homemade Apple Cider

the orchard and a pumpkin of their choice from the patch |

A Tour to the farm is not complete
without playtime! We
have a Kiddie Corral playground next to the picnic area for the
children to enjoy during their tour experience (Swings, slides,
and corn pit)! We do not charge for teachers
or parents. Parents
are only charged if they want to pick apples and pumpkins themselves
or for another sibling.
Additional Information
- Our tours are all day tours. However,
we do offer shorter versions of the tour for younger students
and ½ day classes to get you back to school
on time!
- We have a wonderful screened picnic area and restroom facilities
available.
- Our farm store also serves lunch and treats
in the apple bakery daily!
- All
teachers will receive confirmation and resource packets before their
scheduled tour date

- Reservations are required
for weekday tours.
- We do book up fast, so call as early as possible
to insure the date you want.
- We also offer weekend tours and after school tours to camps,
girl/boy scouts, clubs, church groups ect… call for
a reservation.
